Logistics Co-ordinator

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate logistics activities for utility-scale BESS projects across Europe, from factory dispatch to project site delivery. 
  • Track and manage shipments to ensure timely delivery of equipment and materials in line with project schedules. 
  • Act as the primary interface with freight forwarders, carriers, customs brokers, warehouses, and internal stakeholders. 
  • Prepare, review, and maintain shipping, transportation, and customs documentation. 
  • Support import/export compliance and customs clearance processes across European markets. 
  • Coordinate warehouse operations, inventory movements, and material allocation with third-party logistics providers. 
  • Maintain logistics and inventory records within ERP systems and ensure data accuracy. 
  • Work closely with Project Managers to identify and mitigate logistics risks impacting project execution. 
  • Support freight cost control, invoice verification, and logistics performance reporting. 
  • Assist with logistics claims, returns, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, transportation, or warehouse coordination within an international business environment. 
  • Experience supporting large-scale industrial, renewable energy, infrastructure, or energy storage projects is preferred. 
  • Experience working with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Advance knowledge of logistics terminology and practices (Bill of Lading, CMR, Incoterms)
  • Good knowledge of international business environment, operations, and practices (from international payment terms and conditions to Incoterm usage)
  • Computer literacy, especially in MS Excel, MS Outlook, and ERP systems, preferably Oracle. 
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, able to influence peers and interact with the rest of the team.
  • Proactive, self-starter and problem solver. Taking initiative when required.
  • Ability to interact with customers and key players.
  • Languages: Excellent English language skills both spoken and written, any additional languages is a plus
